Woodstown Bay Shellfish Ltd (WBS Oysters) is a family owned and run business, which is currently being managed by the second generation of Barlows.

Established in 1990, the company is now one of the largest certified sustainable oyster farms in Europe.

WBS Oysters are exported to the global market, the largest of which being, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Why Us

WBS Oysters is run by The Barlow Family. The multi generation family business operates one of Europe’s largest certified sustainable oyster farms. The Barlow Family have recently been awarded the prestigious honour of being named a Great Taste Producer from The Guild of Fine Food in London due to their products award-winning consistency.
WBS Oysters develop their unique and exciting flavour from their excellent growing conditions in the “A” class waters of Woodstown Bay.
WBS oysters receive first rate care from turning, to cleaning, to low density beds, therefore allowing for maximum nourishment and exposure to the plankton rich waters. The result is fleshy, corpulent oysters exclusive to their farm.
