Based in Clonakilty, West Cork in the South of Ireland, Clóna Dairy Products Ltd. has been a tradition in Cork since 1919.
Three local West-Cork co-operatives, Bandon Co-op, Barryroe Co-Op and Lisavaird Co-Op came together and purchased the business, then known as Strand Dairy, in 1989 and set upon a programme of modernisation and expansion that has resulted in Clóna Dairy Products being one of the leading liquid milk processors in the Republic of Ireland.
The plant has achieved ISO 22000 FSSC standard and we were the first dairy in Ireland to have our suppliers accredited under the SDAS (Sustainable Dairy Assurance Scheme). We are a proud verified member of Origin Green and our products carry the NDC (National Dairy Council) of Irelands trademark verifying that 100% of our milk is sourced and processed here in the Republic of Ireland.
Our branded products are available to both retail and foodservice. We are a leading supplier of Private Label products in Ireland and also export products to the UK and Europe.
