The Nestbox Egg Company Ltd is a second-generation, family-owned business based in Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan involved in the packing and processing of eggs.

The company was formed in 1999, opening a state-of-the-art egg grading facility in Lurganmore, just outside Castleblaney.

The company employs over 80 staff who grade and distribute 5 million eggs per week.

The core business is focused on offering retail, food service and industry a range of quality shell and pasteurised free range, organic and barn eggs.

The Nestbox is the only supplier in Ireland of free-range, colony and organic eggs for pasteurised and shell eggs. 

The company is Bord Bia certified, BRC certified, Organic Trust certified, and a member of Origin Green and Love Irish Food.

Our brand, Golden Irish, is one of the strogest Irish retail brand and is available in both shell and 500g Liquid Egg White.
We are also very experienced in exporting eggs and offer a unique 90 day expiry date on their eggs supplied to their Middle Eastern Customers.
