Ballykeefe is an independent, artisan, family-owned Distillery, which was established in 2015 to diversify a working family farm for successor generations. Ballykeefe is a single estate Whiskey distillery, where all grain is sown, grown, harvested and distilled on the farm. This marks a revival of a century’s lost tradition of distilling on family farms linking back to the golden era of Irish whiskey. All of the Gins, Vodkas and Whiskeys produced by Ballykee are gold medal winners and the distillery itself is a multiple award winner for quality and sustainability. Distillation takes place in Irish designed, Italian made, copper stills, using water from a 270 feet deep aquafer on the farm. All spirts are ‘Hearts only’ distiller’s cut, which means they are limited in quantity and a Master Class in quality. Ballykeefe proudly promotes the best traditions and ethics of Artisan and Family in everything we do. Great care is taken to protect the precious environment through the use of sophisticated technology and eco-friendly production practices to result in zero off farm waste. Every step of production, from our fields to your glass, is crafted with love and patience, to deliver the wow factor with the first sip.
