Founded in 2008 and began the company focused on the manufacture of Flour Tortilla and thin crust pizza bases for the foodservice sector.
The company started to manufacture tortillas for the Irish and UK markets, with sales growing consistently across the sector in ambient and frozen products. We are the original & largest manufacturer or flour. tortilla in the Irish market.
The company suffered a fire in January 2015, destroying the entire production facility. The management team worked tirelessly to rebuild a new state-of-the-art plant now in Tullamore. Our Contingency planning ensured we maintained supply to our customers.
Since reopening the new bakery, The Flatbread Company has excelled, growing its product ranges, customers and markets in the process. Now supplying customers in Ireland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Bulgaria... and growiing.
