Farming oysters already is one of the best methods of seafood production sustainability as farmed oysters support the restoration of wild populations, they filter their food from the water, and do not require any input of feed from farmers. That being said, we constantly strive to implement more sustainable practices to our day-to-day operations on the farm. Over the years, there have been numerous modernisations done on the farm and machinery, and we regularly make sure that our equipment is up to date. At the moment, there is building work being carried out to extend our farm building, separate our grading and packing area, and completing our visitor centre. We are particularly proud of expanding our business in this way so that we can teach guests how to handle, prepare, and enjoy oysters.
