• itil38 was founded in 2021 by Irishmen Shane Davey, Niall O’Dwyer and John Reynold. • It was begun as the first premium Irish Vodka brand to get pouring status within the on trade in Ireland. The liquid was designed specifically to be excellent in the making of cocktails. • Shane, Niall and John have been involved in the drinks industry for the last fifteen years and between them have 70 years experience within this field. • Pippa O’Connor joined the team as Creative director, to help the brand better appeal to its target market. • Having worked for both Diageo and Irish distillers Shane saw a gap in the market for a premium Irish Vodka, that was sold as pouring in the on trade and independent off trade, but not heavily discounted in the multiples. To do this it was important to have a route to market, and Niall and Johns experience added this vital dimension to the team.
