Blacks Brewing and Distilling is Ireland’s first co-located craft brewery and distillery, proudly based in the scenic coastal town of Kinsale, Co. Cork since 2013. Founded by husband-and-wife team Sam and Maudeline Black, the company has become a leading name in Ireland’s independent drinks scene, renowned for innovation, quality, and authenticity. From one unique location, Blacks produces a diverse portfolio of premium craft beverages, including award-winning beers, small-batch gins, Irish rum, and Irish whiskey. In 2020 we received Gold at the USA spirits ratings for Blacks Irish Gin and best Golden Rum under 5 years old at the World Rum Awards for Blacks Golden Rum and additionally double gold at the European Beer Challenge and best session IPA in the World at the World Beer Awards to mention just a few In addition to production, Blacks offers visitors a truly immersive experience at its brewery and distillery site, which is open for tours and tastings throughout the year. Guests can see the brewing and distilling process up close, meet the makers, and enjoy a drink in the on-site Lagoon Bar and Glass Box, overlooking both the production floor and Kinsale’s beautiful harbour.
