Origin Green Sustainability Programme

We focus on water conservation, energy efficency and using a full cycle harvest system where waste is used for fertilizer

Wild Irish Sea Veg was established by Gerard and Eileen Talty in 2009. Seaweed harvesting has been a tradition in the Talty family for over 100 years and the company is very much a family business, with daughters Orla, Emma, Allisha and son Evan always on hand to help the harvest.

Wild Irish Sea Veg has expanded from its launch nearly a decade ago, when it had just two products (Carrageen and Dillisk) for sale in the local shop, to offer 23 products across three ranges: Edible, Skincare, and Pet & Land Care. All products are 100% natural and organic, made with wild Irish seaweed which is sustainably hand harvested by the family off the coast of County Clare.
